Sunlighten Infrared Sauna
Our sauna is equipped with near, mid, and far infrared heaters, and has several different types of programs you can follow once your sauna is in use. It is powered by an Android system that includes a touchscreen tablet from which you may adjust the heat, the music, or even choose a film to watch on Netflix.
Sunlighten Sauna Benefits
- Detoxification: A rise in core temperature caused by far infrared heat encourages the body to sweat from the cellular level, where many toxins reside. Ridding the body of these toxins can help alleviate symptoms, “prevent future illnesses, and increase overall health and vitality”.** Detoxification can help with colitis, chronic fatigue, auto-immune diseases, and more!
- “Sunlighten saunas are highly effective for detoxification because of our highly-efficient and patented Solocarbon far infrared heating technology – the only technology proven to raise core body temperature by two-to-three degrees. Rather than simply heating the ambient air to draw out toxins, our sauna detox will heat your core to expel them.”
- Infrared saunas operate much more gently than traditional saunas, at a level of heat that promotes relaxation, pain relief, and improved blood circulation.
- Saunas can help you lose weight as well. “As the body works to cool itself, there is a substantial increase in heart rate, cardiac output and metabolic rate, causing the body to burn more calories…[studies show that a sauna] session can burn upwards of 600 calories while you relax!”**
- “It is believed that Sunlighten saunas are seven times more effective than a traditional sauna. It is commonly thought that sweat from traditional saunas is 95 to 97% water with salt making up a part of the rest. Far infrared saunas are believed to be more effective in moving toxins through the skin than traditional saunas because in a far infrared sauna, only 80 to 85% of the sweat is water with the non-water portion being cholesterol, fat-soluble toxins, toxic heavy metals, sulfuric acid, sodium, ammonia and uric acid.”
